PD Dr. med. Friedrich Edelhäuser

PD Dr. med. Friedrich Edelhäuser, neurologist, head physician of the department for clinic for neurological first stage rehabilitation at the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Herdecke. Cooperative collegial leadership of the Integrative Curriculum for Anthroposophic Medicine (ICURAM) with many projects initiated and designed by students. Focus lies on theconnection between perception and movement, research on introspection (first-person perspective), modern activity- and team-based teaching didactics and questions related to team-building and education.

Dr. med. Christian Scheffer, MME

Attending physician for internal medicine, anthroposophical physician (GAÄD) and Master of Medical Education (Bern). Dr. Scheffer is active in the ICURAM and at the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Herdecke in the ward for internal medicine as a senior physician. Focus lies on the ICURAM-teaching ward for PJ-Students, as well as educational research on co-supervision of patients by students and the development of empathy in the medical curriculum. Teaching activity concerning anthroposophical medicine, the physical examination and on internal medicine.

Diethard Tauschel

Physician, cooperative collegial leadership of the Integrative Curriculum for Anthroposophic Medicine (ICURAM) and Integrative Curriculum for Anthroposophic Psychology (IBAP). Research associate at the Gerhard-Kienle-Department for Medical Theory, Integrative and Anthroposophic Medicine and staff of the office of the dean of medicine, area of clinical coordination. Member of the Institute for Integrative Medicine of the UWH. Chair of the board of “Integrative Medicine and Pluralism of Perspectives” of the German Association for Medical Education (GMA). Member of the core-team of the interprofessional and international, multi-annual continuing-education series “Teach the Teacher in Anthroposophic Medicine”. His work focuses on anthropology, learning to learn, spiritual development and the design of clinical training, especially with a student- and patient-centered approach. His research focus lies in the areas of learning to learn and clinical training.
